Cost Roofing has been serving the greater area of McHenry County and surrounding counties for more than 28 years. James Pilat Jr. started Cost Roofing in July of 1982.  By December of 1997 the company had grown to the point where it had to be incorporated under Pilat Roofing Contractors, Inc DBA Cost Roofing Inc.  Our greatest compliment is that much of our work is through referrals from former customers. It is our philosophy to provide a quality level of service at a low cost.  Today we still work by that mantra:  “We’ll leave a smile on your face and money in your pocket!”
